Take a stroll to the iconic Old Grammar School that dates back to 1614. This unusual building saw the school having to be built on stilts to allow for room underneath for the butter market. You may have seen the broach spire of St Dionysius Church from the balloon, and here is an opportunity to see this Grade I listed building from the more normal perspective.

Once the Symington’s Corset Factory, the building now houses the Harborough Museum. Here you will find a variety of displays, exhibits and objects of local interest; including the Hallaton Treasure. This treasure haul includes the largest hoard of British Iron Age coins ever found, as well as Roman jewellery and parade helmet. And of course, some quality time watching the colourful boats traverse Foxton Locks is a must.
