It is staffed and run by volunteers, so your visiting will help support their fantastic efforts. Nearby you’ll find the village of Sharford, where you can find the 1700s stone monument that marks the geographical centre of Roman Britain. High Cross with its Latin inscription reminds you just how old and varied the history of our wonderful country is. The main departure point is from the grounds of Stanford Hall. There are also other sites nearby in Leicestershire that can be used to get you aloft!

You can leave your car at the launch site as this is where your ballooning experience will finish.

Your unforgettable balloon ride will start with a full safety briefing, after which you you can help the team with the the inflating of the balloon if you wish – or kick back, soak up the atmosphere and let others do the hard work.
